We are wishing everyone a wonderful prosperous new year! This year, 2020, will be a great year for all of us. A HUGE thank you to all of our supporters, community partners, community members, STEP leaders, water ambassadors, staff, and Board for a great 2019. Though the past year brought us some lows and some highs, we can definitely reflect back and be thankful for all of the great opportunities that have come our way. We were able to have great accomplishments in 2019.

Expanded our nutrition education and parent engagement programming East Oakland
Continued our community health education campaign focusing on healthy eating and water consumption over sugar-sweetened beverages
Continued our parent support circles and community education and training on kindergarten readiness and early childhood development
Established our partnership with the Association of Black Psychologists Therapist In Reisidence Program to odder free one-on-one sessions to community members and staff
Launched our new website: healthyblackfam.org
Celebrated the 5th Year Anniversary since the passage of the Berkeley Soda Tax
Established the framework to provide fatherhood engagement programming in the near future
