General Operating Fund
HBF is launching the Monthly Individual Donor campaign to allow the community to support our important work. These funds will go to general operating costs.
HBF’s core value is human dignity. We are conscious of and actively support the basic right of every human being to have respect and to have their basic needs met.
Capital Campaign Fund
It’s 2025 and a new chapter begins for Healthy Black Families (HBF)! We're planting roots at the corner of Ashby and Adeline in Berkeley, California. Located on the Ground floor we’ll continue to serve the heart of the community. Our new 1,818 square feet of space will serve as a launchpad for our continued growth in the East Bay and beyond.
Your contribution? It's more than just a donation. It's the chair where a neighbor sits, the table where a family gathers, or the space where our community connects. Your generosity gives shape to our future.
Program Funding
Together, we shape our programs as they are anchored in the heart of our community's voice. Our goal of health equity is a destination we travel towards. This destination changes and is shaped by the world's rhythm. But our compass? That's you, our community. The wisdom, blossoms where impact is felt most. $500 - Support a community mental health and wellness forum for 100 people
$250 - Sponsor a virtual Kindergarten readiness workshop for 25 families
$100 - Sponsor one mother to participate in a Telling Our Stories cohort
$50 - Support one mother to attend a healing circle
$25 - Provide a week’s worth of fresh fruits/vegetables for a family of four
$5 - Replace a sugar-sweetened beverage with fruit-infused water
