A Word from some of our community partners

The East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC) was honored to partner with Healthy Black Families for our first Community Health Day. Because of our collaboration we vaccinated community members from the South Berkeley neighborhood and greater Alameda County. I am excited to continue to strengthen the relationship between EBCLC and HBF Inc in service to Black elders, parents, children, neighbors, business owners, and essential workers in our community.
— Zoe Polk, Executive Director, East Bay Community Law Center
The City of Berkeley Black Infant Health Program has been partnering with Healthy Black Families for well over a decade around a shared goal of eliminating health disparities and inequities within the African American community. We have collaborated on local community events, including Black History month, turkey gift baskets, and other holiday celebrations, as well as presentations for our empowerment group sessions.

Partnering with Healthy Black Families has been such a pleasure. Hearing the feedback from my clients is always so positive. Many of my clients have changed their families eating habits from attending the food demos. Their grocery list has gone from mostly processed foods to healthy fruits and vegetables. They have really been enjoying cooking with their children which has increased the family time in their households. I look forward to seeing what the upcoming fiscal year has to offer. Thank you Healthy black Families we appreciate you.
