    HBF meets with BART and the City of Berkeley

    About an hour before the meeting, HBF sent a letter asking for a small extension through early December, to complete the full cycle of community engagement before the Objective Design Standards (ODS) go to City Council for adoption.

    Follow-up meeting with BART

    1:30 to 2:00 PM

    BART denied the extension request. BART's stated rationale was that there is ample time for meaningful engagement, community feedback and reflection, and for Council to receive adequate information before making its decision.
